Homeowners witnessed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts announced that various areas across the state had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Meteorological Predictions
Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this next several days as a atmospheric system continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
The following day was forecast to be the most rainy day, with persistent thunderstorm potential predicted across multiple regions of both states.

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
